Q? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
A. Here at Kings Swansea our strap line is ‘come as you are’. We are very informal, casual dress is fine, wear whatever you are comfortable in.

Q? WHO ATTENDS KINGS CHURCH?
A. People of all ages and backgrounds are part of our church family. We have young and senior, single and married, those with and without children.

Q? DOES KINGS CHURCH SWANSEA WELCOME STUDENTS?
A. We welcome all students to join us, and look forward to welcoming you to our church family.

Q? HOW LONG WILL THE SUNDAY SERVICE LAST?
A. The Sunday service starts at 10.30am at out Townhill venue. Members of our Welcome Team will be at the Church foyer to welcome you.

Q? WHAT HAPPENS AT OUR SUNDAY SERVICE?
A. During the first part of the service the focus is very much on worship. The music is very contemporary and uplifting. The second half of the service is dedicated to practical preaching of the Bible for about 45 minutes. Expect to see people lifting their hands as an expression of worship, singing and praying. You will also see and hear the gifts of the Holy Spirit in action.

After the service there is plenty of opportunity to chat and enjoy a free cup of coffee. There is also an information and resource area where you can purchase resources such as DVDs and CDs of Pastor Dave’s teaching. There is also a wide choice of contemporary Christian Books to purchase.

Q? CAN I BRING MY BABY/TODDLER?
A. Yes, of course you can have your baby in the service with you or take advantage of our creche service. Creche has a registration requirement, a strict sign in and out policy. The signing in area is located at the Information and Resources area. If your baby needs you during the service, one of the workers will come and find you. Please register your child  before the meeting starts.

Q? IS THERE A CHILDREN’S CHURCH?
A. Yes, we have a vibrant children’s work for your children to enjoy – whatever school year they are in. They are released after the time of worship where they will be directed to an action packed interactive, high-energy classes that will teach them the exciting reality of the Bible, as well as laughter, craft, games and making new friends. Like the crèche there is a signing in and out procedure.

Q? WHO WILL LOOK AFTER MY CHILDREN?
A. Not only do we have robust policies and procedures in place, but we also complete ‘CRB’ background checks on everyone who works with babies, children and youth. Our volunteers are trained and love working with children and youth to help them grow in their walk with God.

Q? ARE THERE DISABLED FACILITIES?
A. All our facilities are on the ground floor, so you should experience no difficulty .
